Local SEO Specialist
You own the local SEO work for a handful of residential and light commercial HVAC contractors: their Google Business Profiles, service and location pages, citations, reviews and the reporting that tells the owner whether any of it produced a booked job.
What you would actually do
- Run Google Business Profiles for live HVAC accounts: categories, services, posts, photos, spam fighting against the competitors outranking us.
- Write and ship service and location pages that read like a person wrote them, then watch what they do in the map pack.
- Build and clean citations, chase review generation with the client's office staff, and fix the NAP mismatches that quietly hold a listing back.
- Put together the monthly report yourself - calls, booked jobs, cost per job - and get on the call to explain it, including the months it went sideways.
What we need you to already have
- Two years of local SEO you can talk through in specifics: the account, what you changed, what moved, what did not.
- Comfort writing. Most of this job is words on pages, and we do not have a content team behind you.
- The willingness to tell a client their number is down before they notice. That is the whole brand.
- Working hours that overlap US business hours, because you will be on client calls.
The parts you should know before applying
- $40,000 is the number, not an opening position. It is a fair salary for a remote specialist and it is not a senior-agency salary. If you are past this band, you will be underpaid here and we would both regret it.
- There is no team to hide behind. Four or five accounts are yours, and if something is not done it is because you did not do it.
- We do not sell Google Ads or organic social, so you will not build those skills here.
- The founder reviews work closely and says so plainly when it is not good enough. Some people find that direct in a way they do not enjoy.
